With over 21 years of service in the U.S. Army, my career spanned roles as a Human Resources Senior Leader, Advisor, and Inspector General, providing me with invaluable expertise in human capital management, compliance, and innovative problem-solving.
This journey began during my tenure as the Senior Human Resources Advisor/Director to the U.S. Army NATO element for the entire NATO’s Southern European Region, where I developed the foundation of this company amidst the unprecedented challenges of the global pandemic in Italy. Recognizing the urgent need to address delays in mental health support for veterans, military members, and dependents, I worked to develop a national solution to improve access and resources.
My expertise extends beyond human resources leadership to integrating advanced technology into HR processes, including AI-driven analytics and compliance systems. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for strategic planning, team development, and operational efficiency, ensuring mission success in high-stakes environments. Some of my proudest accomplishments include serving as a senior compliance supervisor for military investigators, pioneering innovative HR solutions within multinational organizations, and earning recognition as a consistent top performer in both military and corporate environments.

During my time in the military, I served with distinction as a Senior Human Resources Officer, overseeing HR operations for organizations ranging in size from 400 to 12,000+ personnel. In this role, I provided critical HR services, from policy implementation to team development, ensuring operational effectiveness across all levels. My career has been defined by my commitment to coaching, mentoring, and guiding individuals to reach their fullest potential, not just as professionals, but as people.
Building on this foundation, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Liberty University. My name's Denise (She/ They), Licensed Professional Counselor, I'm a psychotherapist in Las Vegas. My therapeutic practice is founded in Collectivism and includes working with individuals, families, couples, groups, and children. I specialize in trauma prevention, intervention, and processing. We heal from the dehumanizing effects of colonization, imperialism, state-sanctioned violence, and systemic oppression. Utilizing expressive therapeutic tools such as Narrative, Art, Yoga, Play, Herbal Remedies, Visualization, Parts and Memory Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing III.
As CEO, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Director of Therapeutic Services I provide mental health using holistic and non-linear forms of healing. Hello, I’m Mr. Mark, and I am honored to serve as the Veteran Outreach Director. With 22 years of service in the United States Army, my career allowed me to fulfill a multitude of roles, but one closest to my heart was representing the 82nd Airborne Division as the face of the All-American Chorus for many years.
Bringing veterans together has always been my passion, and I dedicate myself to helping them form strong bonds, find support, and connect with resources when facing challenges. I am deeply committed to addressing the critical issue of veteran suicide and offering hope to those in need.
Some defining moments of my journey include representing the United States on the international stage during the Remembrance of D-Day in France, becoming a proud finalist on America’s Got Talent 2023, and achieving the status of Master Rated Jumpmaster while serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.
As I continue my mission as Veteran Outreach Director, I strive every day to empower the veteran community, honor our shared experiences, and provide the strength and brotherhood we deserve.
